The short version: Holodex is free. You can pay to remove ads or donate for cosmetic rewards. Digital cards and coins are just for fun and have no cash value. Be decent to other players. You can cancel the ad-free plan any time and delete your account any time.

1. Who we are and what this covers

These terms cover holodex.voxverra.com ("Holodex"), run by iBadProductions ("we"). By creating an account or using Holodex, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Holodex.

2. Who can use Holodex

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and is responsible for any payments. One person per account; keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.

3. What Holodex is

Packs is a game of opening digital booster packs with coins. Digital cards and coins are not real cards or money. They have no cash value and can't be sold, cashed out or exchanged for money or anything outside Holodex. Coins are free (daily coins, goals, events); the only way to get coins with money is the Lifetime plan below. Pack contents are random: see the pack odds. You don't own coins or digital cards; they're part of the game. We may change, rebalance or reset them (for example to fix a bug or abuse).
Play is a shared table for playing card games with other people. The players apply the cards' rules themselves.
Card prices come from public sources and are for information only. They can be wrong or out of date and are not financial advice. Don't rely on them for real-money decisions.

4. Ads, the ad-free plan and donations

Holodex shows a small number of ads. Everything on Holodex is free to use with or without paying.
Ad-free plan: $5.99 a month or $24.99 a year (or the price shown at checkout). It removes ads and nothing else. It renews automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from the Support page (Manage or cancel); ads stay off until the end of the period you've paid for. Payments aren't refunded for partly used periods, except where the law requires it. If we stop offering the plan, we'll refund the unused part.
Lifetime plan: $999 paid once. It includes no ads for as long as Holodex runs, Founding supporter rewards and 1,000,000 coins added to your account. You must be 18 or older. It isn't offered in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland. Coins from Lifetime are like any other coins: no cash value, not refundable as money, and they open packs with random contents at the published odds. Lifetime isn't refundable once the coins are used, except where the law requires; if we ever shut Holodex down, Lifetime ends with it.
Donations ($3 and up) are voluntary gifts to support Holodex and are not refundable, except for mistakes such as a duplicate charge (email us within 30 days). Each $3 also adds a month without ads.
Supporter rewards are cosmetic only (badges, name colours, card backs, playmats, profile frames and banners, pack-opening auras, emotes). They have no cash value and don't affect gameplay, what you pull, or coins.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Prices are in US dollars and may include tax where applicable. We can change prices for future periods; we'll show the new price before you pay.

5. Playing fair and being decent

Don't: harass or threaten anyone; use offensive usernames; cheat, exploit bugs, script or automate play; try to get around rate limits or security; access other people's accounts; or use Holodex for anything illegal. Chat and trades are between players. We can remove content, reverse trades made through abuse, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

6. Card names, images and data

Card names, images and game content belong to their owners (Wizards of the Coast, The Pokémon Company and partners, and Konami). Holodex is an unofficial fan project and isn't affiliated with or endorsed by them. Card data comes from community sources including Scryfall, TCGdex and YGOPRODeck. All of it is shown free of charge; paying never unlocks card data.

7. Your account

You can delete your account any time from the Me page. That removes your profile, digital collection, packs, goals and login. If you have an active ad-free plan, cancel it first so you aren't charged again. We may close accounts that have been inactive for a long time, or end Holodex, with notice where we reasonably can.

8. No warranty

Holodex is provided "as is" and "as available". We don't promise it will always be online, error-free, or that prices or card data are accurate. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

9. Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on price information. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $10 if you paid nothing.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll show a notice in Holodex before it takes effect. Using Holodex after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA, except where the law where you live gives you rights that can't be waived. Questions or complaints: [email protected].
